I have learned that people want your money for things you can find for free with a little research. There are a lot of websites out there claiming to get your website noticed and ranked high on Google and Yahoo. If you do some research you will find that what they are doing is providing you with a service because they have already done the research for you. So if you are a little lazy and don't mind spending the money then go for it but if you don't want to pay any money out to get your blog moving do the leg work yourself. You can easily search Google and Yahoo for websites that allow you to "submit your website for free". Some of the companies I have found are listed in the "Blogger Resource" section.
